Late summer orchards – branches heavy with sun-ripened plums, wild rhubarb growing in tangled hedgerows, and the air alive with the sweet-sharp scent of crushed berries. This Plum & Wild Rhubarb Candle captures that juicy abundance: bold and bright, tart yet sweet, like a burst of sunlight through tangled leaves.

The playful zing of grapefruit and rhubarb dances with the richness of black plum, mellowed by soft cedarwood and a whisper of vanilla musk.

• Lead notes: Rhubarb, Black Plum, Grapefruit
• Heart notes: Strawberry, Raspberry
• Base notes: Cedarwood, Vanilla, Musk

Burning Instructions:

• Always allow candle to melt to the edges of the vessel. This is especially important on the first few burns of your candle, to avoid 'tunnelling'. This will take approximately 4 hours.
• Do not exceed 4 hours for optimal performance.
• Never leave lit when unattended & Keep out of reach from children or pets.
• Prior to each use, trim the wick to 5mm for a clean and even burn.
• Always place your candle and burn on a level fire resistant surface. A coaster is always good and never leave unattended when lit.
• Keep your candle free from any foreign materials, this includes wick trimming and matches

Extinguishing your candle:

• Replace the lid to extinguish or use a snuffer. This will prevent your wicks from drifting off centre thus maximising your candle burn time.
• Blowing out your candle is not recommended as the liquid wax may splatter and your wick may continue to glow and emit a small amount of smoke – which is natural when you extinguish a candle by blowing out rather than replacing the lid or using a snuffer.
• Once your candle is extinguished, allow the wax to solidify and then follow the storage advice.

Refills:

This refill is designed to be used with our candle vessel and should not be lit as a pillar candle. Once your previous Hideaway candle has finished, simply pop in a bowl of hot water for 1 minute, scoop out the remaining wax, then wash out with remove waxy residue and pop in one of our candle refills!

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Dispose of contents/container to approved disposal site in accordance with local regulations.
