Our company is built on a desire to do business better and to put ethics first and we believe that an inspiring company cares for more than just its profit, but how it impacts the natural world.

As a brand we are committed to taking small, meaningful steps to protect our environment and a considered approach when creating our products. This is why we have also very carefully chosen ethically and sustainably sourced materials and packaging so that they share in our values. 

Our Sustainable initiatives have always been important to us whether we sell one product a day or hundreds and we are proud to say that we are a plastic free company.

Products:

As a proud British company, we will continue to create all our products here in the heart of the National Forest.

• All our materials are ethically and sustainably sourced thinking about our carbon footprint.
• We use natural ingredients to produce our products and our soy wax is made in the UK, all natural from a soya bean oil and extremely environmentally friendly and Vegan.
• We have never and will never test our products on animals. We are proud to create products of the highest quality and efficacy.
• Our candle, diffuser, diffuser refills products are all packaged in glass which is made with a percentage of recycled glass and is 100% recyclable.
• Our candle tins can be upcycled as a keepsake. We also now include in with all our candles a wildflower seeded dust cover so you can repurpose your candle vessel and grow your own wildflowers.
• Our soy wax melt products are all finished with biodegradable dried botanicals and woods and packaged in our seeded plantable boxes.
• Our seeded plantable product packaging is made with special handmade 100% recycled paper from a variety of sources such as schools and business to help save trees and reduce waste sent to landfill. It is then embedded with REAL wildflower seeds to plant and grow!
• The ink used on our product packaging is vegetable based and fully biodegradable.
• In 2024 we launch our first refill products and have increased the size of our diffuser to 200ml meaning they will last longer. Refills are a great step towards sustainability as they require less packaging, shipping and prolong the life of our products.
• We have chosen HP cartridges to run our printers due to their ethos and the actions that they’ve taken to offer eco-friendly printing products.  The cartridges are made from recycled plastics which help reducing waste.  We also participate in HP recycling return scheme with our cartridges.

Packaging:

We do not use any plastic within our packing and use various paper and recyclable alternatives, such as:

• Our postal boxes are made using FSC approved cardboard and are biodegradable.  The boxes are made from recycled materials and can be easily recycled again.
• We use bio-fil to protect our products when shipping and this is made from natural resources and dissolves in water, thereby reducing landfill waste.
• We also hand stamp our boxes with our logo using non-toxic water-based inks.
• Eco friendly white tissue paper
• Shredded kraft paper for internal protection which can be recycled not just once, but up to 7 times!
• All our packages are sealed with brown recycled paper tape which is 100% biodegradable & compostable! Even the tape’s adhesive is natural and compostable.
• Our personalised candles are sent out in a eco friendly compostable bag made from a corn starch blend, so that your gift is ready to gift.

We have developed a meticulous packing strategy to eliminate unnecessary excess packaging while still ensuring the highest level of protection for our products.

Energy and Distribution:

All the lightbulbs within our office and studio are energy saving LED lightbulbs. This helps to reduce waste as LED lightbulbs have a longer life span and they use 90% less energy compared with a 50W halogen lightbulb, further reducing our CO2 emissions.
